Social Media Week (SMW) took place around the globe in 21 different cities the week of February 13th, reflecting on the global impact of social media to act as a catalyst for cultural, economic, political and social change.

This year with help from our friends at Joy Apparel , SmartBride and Raise5, we hosted a SMW event here in Toronto called Socially Green. Over snacks and a few drinks we tried to engage in discussion about how social media can be used to increase awareness about the impact that our product choices can have on the environment.
