Cold Pressed – Cold Extracted Oils – Himalaya uses only the highest grade of cold-pressed oils in their products derived by cold extraction. Through a process called malaxation, which slowly churn milled seeds/fruits/nuts in a specially designed mixer for 20 to 40 minutes. This churning allows the smaller droplets of oil released by the milling process to aggregate and separate more easily. This is followed by a laborious extraction process that is crucial due to its effects on oil quality. Although this manual process is time consuming, its outcome is a superior product.
